Local Attractions #27: Richmond Barracks

Richmond Barracks was a British army barracks in Inchicore Dublin. It was built in 1814 as security against the Napoleonic invasion and later became recruitment for the British army. It is now home to a library, garden, and Culture Connects, a programme of cultural activities that celebrate the experiences and interests of the local communities and people.
The mess café and beautiful garden is located next to the Richmond barracks where visitors can sit and relax. This venue is also know for holding conferences and functions.
