The new National Wax Museum Plus is now open and is located on Dublin’s Westmoreland Street. The museum is bigger and better than ever, situated over three floors of the Lafayette Building opposite Temple Bar district.
The museum prides itself on its originality and has been designed to provide a fully interactive experience for visitors and groups, with guests taken on a journey through the Chamber of Horrors, Wax World, Sports World and much more.
Chief among the exhibits are the aforementioned “Chamber of Horrors”, located in the basement of the museum and bringing visitors face-to-face with the likes of Buffalo Bill, Hannibal Lector and Dracula. “Time Vaults” takes visitors back to numerous points in time in Irish History, from the Viking settlements to the Good Friday Agreement. “Music and Entertainment” features waxworks from all your favourite actors, characters and musicians, while “Kid’s World” presents a children’s fantasy world full of their favourite cartoon and movie characters.
