2. What is the best format to book on to achieve the best available rate when booking West County Hotel Dublin?
You will receive the best available accommodation rates directly on our website on www.westcountyhotel.ie or by contacting us directly via telephone or email. 

3. Does West County Hotel Dublin offer any special deals or packages?
We offer some fantastic packages and rates directly on our website at www.westcountyhotel.ie. These include “Stay Longer and Save” specials for 2, 3 and 4+ night stays, as well as some packaged Dinner, B&B rates to enhance your stay in Dublin. 

4. Does West County Hotel Dublin offer any corporate rates for frequent guests?
Yes, we offer long-term corporate rates and these can be discussed directly with our sales team. Our corporate rates are typically available to guests or companies who can guarantee >50 nights per annum. You can contact our team on reception@westcountyhotel.ie.

5. Can I request a room with a bath or make any additional requests?
Yes. We encourage all our guests to add in their preferred requests when making their reservation to allow our team make your stay as comfortable as possible. Common requests include requesting a room with a bath, asking for a quiet room at the back of the hotel or being assigned a room beside our elevator. 

CHECKING IN TO WEST COUNTY HOTEL DUBLIN

1. What time is check-in and check-out? 
Check-in time is from 2.00pm onwards and check-out time is 12.00 noon.

2. How do I cancel or amend my reservation?
You can amend or cancel your booking by contacting our reservations desk directly or by following the instructions in your booking confirmation email. If you have made a reservation via a third-party website (Hotels.com, Booking.com etc.), you are required to cancel your reservation with this website. The hotel has a 48-hour cancelation policy. 3. What is the hotel’s credit card policy?
We require a credit and/or a debit card to make and secure a booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Bookers are required to have the relevant card under their own name (I.D. may be required as proof of name). If a booking is secured with a debit card, please note this card may be charged on the morning of arrival as per our terms and conditions.

4. How old do I have to be to check into the hotel?
Guests must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or older.

5. What do I need to bring along with me when checking in to the hotel?
It is recommended you have with you a copy of your reservation along with a valid ID or passport. While we do not take a damage deposit or check-in deposit, you will require to provide payment details to go onto your booking to secure your room, even in the case where you have pre-paid for your stay. 

6. Can I get an early check-in to the hotel before 2.00pm?
During 2026 (especially in peak months), it can be difficult to grant an early check-in. With such a request, we will mark this on your booking. However, we cannot guarantee this can be facilitated. Should your room not be ready on arrival to the hotel, we can store your luggage safely for you to go off and enjoy the city.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO AND FROM WEST COUNTY HOTEL DUBLIN

1. What are the local transport options into Dublin City? 
Dublin Bus operates a regular service to and from the city centre. The bus stop into town is located directly opposite the hotel (bus stop number 2243) and is serviced by Bus Service 80. The journey is around 15 minutes. For returning to the hotel, you can take the 80 at Westmoreland Street (bus stop 317) in the city centre and this bus will leave you back to a bus stop located a two-minute walk from the hotel (bus stop number 2198). 2. What are the available public transport options to get to/from Dublin Airport to West County Hotel Dublin?
While there is no direct route from Dublin Airport to West County Hotel Dublin, you can take Dublin Express service 782 from the airport (available at Stop 111911, Terminal 2 Zone 19) into the city centre. From here, you can take Dublin Bus service 80 from Westmoreland Street (bus stop 317) or Merchant's Quay (bus stop 7857) and this bus will leave you back to a bus stop located a two-minute walk from the hotel (bus stop number 2198).

A taxi from Dublin Airport (DUB) to the West County Hotel in Chapelizod typically takes 16–25 minutes, covering about 18 km. The estimated cost for this journey is between €30 and €45.

3. What is the best way to avail of public buses in Dublin?
Dublin Bus fares must be paid in the exact coins and drivers do not give change. The alternative would be to purchase a Leap Card and top it up with credit to pay for travel. Here at West County Hotel, we provide Leap Cards to guests to avoid you the hassle/cost of purchasing your own. Chat to our team at reception on this option when arriving to our hotel.

FACILITIES PROVIDED BY WEST COUNTY HOTEL

1. Does the hotel have parking facilities?
There are over 100 secure on-site coach and car parking spaces available at the hotel and parking is complimentary for all guests. There is no need to reserve parking spaces at the hotel. 

2. Does the hotel have leisure facilities?
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have leisure facilities. 

3. Are there electrical adapters available for conversion from two-pin socket plugs?
Adapters are available at the hotel to purchase for €5.00 per adapter. Also, all our guestrooms are fitted with USB sockets (both USB-A and USB-C) for charging phones/laptops etc.

4. Is there a hairdryer in the room?
All rooms are fitted with a hairdryer for your use. These are typically located within the dressing table drawer.

5. Are there smoking rooms in the hotel?
All rooms and general areas are a smoke-free zone and therefore the use of cigarettes and e-cigarettes is prohibited. There is an automatic fine for smoking in the hotel. We thank all guests for their cooperation. 

6. Can you provide babysitting services?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide babysitting services for toddlers or children.

7. Is the West County Hotel Dublin pet-friendly?
West County Hotel allows service and guide dogs to stay with guests. Unfortunately, due to health and safety reasons and to respect your fellow guests, pets and other animals are not permitted inside the hotel. This is a strict enforcement of this policy. 

DINING AT WEST COUNTY HOTEL DUBLIN

1. What time is breakfast served at?
Full Irish & Continental Breakfasts are served in The Pine Restaurant from 7.00am – 10.00am from Monday – Saturday and from 8.00 am – 10.30 am on Sunday and Bank Holidays. Should guests require an earlier breakfast time, a continental breakfast can be pre-booked at reception for the following morning.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND DESTINATIONS BESIDE WEST COUNTY HOTEL DUBLIN

1. What is the area around West County Hotel Dublin like?
Our hotel is located just on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Chapelizod, a small suburb of Dublin City which is 15 minutes away from the city centre. While the hotel is fortunately placed right beside the major accessways of the N4 and M50 roadways to allow easy access around greater Dublin, we are blessed in our location that provides a quiet and safe destination for guests. Our hotel is nicely sheltered from the noise of busy roadways allowing guests a comfortable night’s sleep. 

2. What are the closest local attractions beside West County Hotel Dublin?
The West County Hotel is situated next door to Europe’s largest public park, The Phoenix Park. The park contains both Áras an Uachtaráin (the residence of the President of Ireland) and Dublin Zoo. Popular tourist destinations such as Kilmainham Gaol, War Memorial Gardens and Guinness Storehouse are minutes away by bus.
